About Us

Karhu Attorneys-at-Law Ltd was established in 2006 in Helsinki as Kurki-Suonio & Karhu Attorneys-at-Law Ltd. We also have an office in Kotka.

In addition to large international shipowners, P&I Clubs and insurance companies, our international clientele consists of small to medium size businesses.

We specialize in maritime and transport law as well as labour and general company law related services. Several foreign companies have initiated their operations in Finland with our help.

Over the years we have represented our clients on all levels of national court system, including general and administrative courts and the Market Court, as well as domestic and international arbitral proceedings. A number of our clients´ cases have been published as precedents.

Our office is located in the Helsinki city center in the vicinity of Esplanadi Park. In Kotka you can find us in Pasaati Shopping Center.
